September’s Featured Quotations – ‘Maria Style’

My friend Maria is obsessed with making the quote board – OBSESSED. So I thought September would be a great month to honor her and her contributions to our laugh meters. Maria has sharpened her humor in recent months, but early in her quotation journey, she just came off as bitter. Here are some classics, re-posted:

“I’m gonna make that damn quote board – forget that Megan girl.” – Maria

“Looks like I gotta build a house in Texas to make a quote board these days. That’s too bad…considering I’m damn funny. – Maria

“I guess you have to be Chris Hemmah now to make the quote board.” – Maria

Maybe that is exactly the tactic she had to use to be heard. Shortly after those bitter quotations were recorded, Maria came out with these fantastic gems:

“I’m a little dysfunctional but I’m still good looking.” Maria

“If those shorts were any shorter, they’d be a belt.” – Maria

“I made sure it was you before I accelerated.” – Maria

“My goal is to make her cry every day.” – Maria

So this September, we honor you, Maria. May you continue to be funny and contribute to the monthly featured quotations. My hope for you is that someday – someday – your wise words will be featured on one of my company post cards. I know, it’s a big dream. But I like to say “Dream big…or go home.” And I’m sure you’re not ready to go home, Maria.
