Fargo-Moorhead is out of the national news. The networks have moved on and so have we. Around town, you’ll see some sandbags thrown on curbs. Some are starting to clean up.
The river level reading for the Red River in Fargo is currently at 33.42 feet. Flood stage is 18 feet. We’re completely out of danger, but when you get near the river, you realize how high it sits. There’s also going to be a mess to clean up. This is a shot taken at Lindenwood Park in Fargo. The river is supposed to be contained within the second row of trees. The first tree toward the left of the photo is around the walking/biking trail where I like to walk my dog. Guess he’ll have to settle for the neighborhood view for a while.
