While doing research for an upcoming article, I discovered a new love: silver stamping to create Vintage Garden Markers. It took me a few days and a few different tools to perfect this craft that many have perfected before me. Once I created enough for gifts and for the article, I just kept going and suddenly I had an inventory. It’s letting me tap into a different part of my creative side and it’s been great to be able to work with my hands.
Luckily Maria and Leanne over at Eco Chic Boutique in Fargo, N.D. thought they were cool and started selling them and so did Lee and Brenda at Fargo’s Sweet Dreams Confections. Shelly at Levi Runions Garden Center in Sabin, Minn. can’t wait for her custom spoon that says “Weeds.” (She’s got a great sense of humor, that Shelly.) I love supporting our local businesses and I hope you will join me in doing so. Check back as I hope to add more retailers!

I feel the urge to not walk, but run to Eco Chic right now! (Actually I would need an ambulance if I tried to run all the way over there. I think I’ll just take my car.)
