My husband and I were married in September of this year, and as we were decorating for the wedding one of the bridesmaids unpacked a silver “H” for the cake topper. Since my last name in McCurdy she was stumped, if only for a moment: “Who is the ‘H’ for?” Immediately she laughed out loud as it clicked that the ‘H’ started the groom’s last name and would soon become my legal last name.
I became attached to that silver ‘H’ and when it came time to decorate for Christmas, I wanted to find a way to use it again. That’s how I was inspired to put together this centerpiece, repurposing a few mismatched items from the Christmas decorating tote.
Pieces:
A holiday wreath
A flat bottom bowl, used upside down to elevate the candles (or an upside down bowl with with a round cutting board on top…please share other ideas with your comments below).
An assortment of candles, grouped in three
A cake topper letter of your choice
A black tablecloth contrasts the white candles
Happy Holidays!

You could buy a piece of green floral foam to attach it to and then add some spanish moss as a filler to hid the foam. It was a pretty idea. You are a lady of many talents. Must get it from Dave’s wife!!!
